The first session was an introductory one, so not a lot happened:
Vene is the GM
Loki is Ephese, Hive scum
Adrian is Moll, an Imperial cleric
Sanja is Phebia, an Imperial psyker

The PCs were sent to investigate an area of the slums which had been experiencing a surge in crime and similar disturbances. They stumbled upon a firefight between two groups of gangers, armed with various pistols. Moll was injured by gunfire. Phebia invoked Perils, but without real harm. After one of the gangers was shot in the arm, badly, he decided to retreat, spurring the fleeing of his buddies. The PCs took care of the side that stayed to fight. One of them was captured, as Moll wanted a pet.

As Phebia and Moll were trying to decide if the unconscious ganger was still alive a dreg sneaked out and fired a couple of rounds at Ephese. One struck and actually did significant harm. Phebia grabbed a dead ganger's laspistol as Moll and Ephese moved in to attack the dreg. He was pretty badly injured in the fighting that ensued and his gun jammed on him. Phebia then entered the fight as she successfully caused him to spasm, leading to her seeing ghosts and her grasp on reality became a bit more tenuous. Knocked on his ass and with a useless weapon, the dreg surrendered. The party decided against capturing or killing him and granted him the privilege of continued life. The ganger's weapons were gathered and the unconscious one was brought to the Arbites.

After a brief chat with their supervisor, Lt. Severine, they handed over their prisoner, were instructed to get their wounds patched up, and told they were going to investigate the area further after the psyker reported hauntings.

Lt. Severine tells the players the captured ganger died, but that he belonged to a group called The Emperor's Forgotten, who are suspected to have dealings with mutants. She then sends them on their way to investigate for any spectral disturbances.

The characters went back to the scene of the previous day to look for Phebia's ghosts. Due to a lack of leads, they went to hunting down a cat that was eating one of the corpses which had still not been cleaned up. They tried to chase down the feline, but it kept running away. After a friendly chat with some of the locals, they got some vermin fat and Phebia was able to lure the cat towards her. She convinced herself it wasn't some sort of warp beast with pyniscience and they moved on towards harassing the workers of the nearby factory. But not before Moll tries to pet the animal, which hissed as it did not want to be petted.

Befuddled that a door would be locked, they announced they were with the Arbites and gained entrance to the processing plant. During the conversation with one of the workers, Phebia exposed herself to be an Imperial psyker, putting the dregs quite on edge during the whole affair. Between the shipping secretary and the lead linesman, the players are convinced there is nothing of interest going on in the factory. So now they head to the bar.

They found a group of hive gangers at a table, drinking. Ephese and them decided to compare guns, but stopped short of opening fire. Dominance ritual complete, the party flashes their Arbite credentials and the gangers are much more receptive and inform the party they have not seen any ghosts. A quick chat with a tech-priest, who Ephese notices is quite out of place, leads to no further information. The Emperor's Forgotten are mentioned and it catches the attention of the gangers. Moll presses them for information, it turns out they have a feud with the "mutant loving freaks." Not happy with this slur, the tech-priest opens fire, disabling one of the gangers. Ephese returns in kind with her autogun, wounding the tech-priest, prompting him to flee. Phebia makes him spasm, leading to an innocent getting shot. Moll attempts to hammar [sic] him, but his armor protects him. Shots are fired from the gangers, as well as from Ephese, hitting Moll more than the tech-priest. But, Ephese is able to successfully blast an impressive hole in his head, ending the fight. Phebia gives some quick healing to Moll and the downed ganger and the mutant lover's corpse is looted. The gangers collect his laspisol (sans clip) and carve out an implant as trophies. The players leave to report to Severine.

Severine is quite displeased when she learns her underlings failed to bring in the body of such an important figure and orders them to retrieve it. This task is promptly done for her and the Arbites are now in the possession of the husk of a heretical priest of the Omnissiah. Due to her erratic behavior, Phebia's respirator will be replaced and blood tests will be conducted.

200 exp was awarded, Phebia collected 3 laspistol clips and flak armor, whereas Moll acquired a chainsword.

The characters were lent an armored vehicle, which Moll drove to the Tech-Priest's home. Moll decided the use of a chainsword was the best way to open a door, and she was greeted by two industrial servitors. The players cautiously entered the home and were attacked. Phebia threw a firebomb, which missed the servitors completely, but caught a few bookcases on fire. Dismayed at her failure, she opted to use a combination of psyker powers and laspistol shots. While Moll was engaged in sword play with one of the servitors, Ephese managed to slip behind them and was able to actually get into the fight. As she downed one of the servitors, the other opened a mighty gash in Moll's face, pulverizing an eye. Phebia was blessed with righteous fury and immolated the final servitor with her laspistol.

The characters then dealt with both the fires Phebia set and Moll's wound. During the healing process, Phebia invoked psychic phenomenon and voiced filled the house, further confirming her theory of the involvement of ghosts. The surviving books were loaded into their vehicle and they ransacked the house; plundering various odds and ends for themselves as well as securing the potentially damning personal effects of the deceased Tech-Priest.

Once they were satisfied with their looting, the players ventured back to their vehicle, to be greeted by more hive gangers. Phebia once again thought fire was the answer and engulfed one of them in her firebomb's flames. One of the gangers lost his nerve and fled back to their van, while another tried to commandeer the Tech-Priest's car. Phebia invoked an illusionary double (and more ghostly voices) and leapt into the car behind him. Moll opened fire with her autopistol and dispatched the would-be carjacker with a hail of gunfire. Of the surviving gangers, one went for Phebia's double and the other tried to maneuver so he could engage Ephese and Moll more effectively. The latter was quickly shot to ribbons by Moll, who decided to chase after the last survivor with Ephese. Said survivor laid down suppressive fire towards the scum and psychic double, pinning Ephese, but he failed to faze the illusionary Phebia. The fraudulent Phebia engaged him in sword play while the real Phebia shot him in the back with her laspistol, leading to him believing he had been stabbed when he was actually hit with a laser blast. The Illusion faded, and the bewildered ganger was intimidated into surrendering by the real Phebia.

A brief exchanged yielded very little information, so Phebia ordered him to be brought into the house. Ephese looted the corpses as the psyker and cleric went inside. After 7 hours of interrogation, they managed to obtain some information, mostly the names Commissar Tiberius and Uriah Dorn. The ganger decided to try his luck and knife the psyker. Moll sees what he is trying to do and tackles him to the ground, but ultimately the ganger losses when Ephese jams her autogun into his crotch and tells him to stop resisting. He is stripped naked, tied up, and more interrogation follows, 9 hours worth, during which the players learn where he meets with Dorn, that Commissar Tiberius has dozens of followers, and were called heretics (this lead to the cleric slapping him). Due to the late hour, the players drag him into their vehicle and drive back to Arbite headquarters.

Once there, the ganger is turned over to a sergeant and the players are told to speak with Lieutenant Severine in the morning to be fully debriefed. The sergeant is told about Commissar Tiberius and Uriah Dorn by Phebia, but she is most displeased that he will not deviate from standard operating procedures at her request. At her insistence, he calls up the Inquisitor, who tells Phebia to listen to those with more experience and Phebia is verbally reprimanded for questioning instead of serving. He ends the call and the session ends.

The players all get 250 exp. Ephese looted a pump action shotgun from the gangers, Phebia found a lascarbine in the Tech-Priest's home, and Moll's eye is being replaced with optical implants. The players wax philosophically over the value of helmets.

The players were informed the Arbites have no record of a Commissar Tiberius and that Uriah Dorn is too common of a name to be a useful lead. But, Lt. Severine did inform them that the gangers they befriended in the slums wanted to have a chat. So, the party took their tank and drove it up to the bar. A brief exchange followed and the players and 4 hive gangers entered a building to go mutant hunting. They were not disappointed, upon entering the structure they were attacked by said mutants.

The extended gang makes short work of the welcoming committee and clears out the upper levels. Being proper player characters they loot the place. The players did not some possible sacrilege, the mutants appeared to be worshiping the Emperor. Concluding that it was a false idol, the players desecrated both an in-scripted plaque and torched a worship hall. The mutants are very ill-equipped, the grunts only carry staves and the leaders have a simple stub revolver. By chainsword and autogun the abominations are cut down.

Much of the same happens in the lower level, poorly equipped mutants attack the players and gangers, but are cut down by superior firepower, including the odd psychic phenomenon such as a spontaneous coating of frost. After the fighting, Phebia grabs a handful of documents from a corner office, mostly detailing day to day activities, but the names "Uriah Dorn" and "Tiberius" are on them. The players explore more and find some mutants sleeping. They sneak in and dispatch a couple of them, but the remainder are awakened and a fight breaks out. Ephese's autogun actually did more damage to Moll than any of the mutants. Moll was quite displeased by the situation, but they ventured onward into a series of caves.

A few more mutant lackies were dispatched and Dorn appeared. He charged at Phebia and inflicts a rather nasty gash in her left leg. Her buddies move in to assist her, but Dorn's buddies move forward to assist him as well and Phebia is cracked over the head with a staff. Ephese kills Dorn with a hail of fire from her autopistol, riddling him with bullets. He collapses, but his mutant followers continue to fight. Phebia is rather badly wounded in the process, but the remaining mutants are exterminated. The gangers and Inquisitorial acolytes split ways, both satisfied with the carnage they caused. At Arbite headquarters, Lt. Severine tells them to get some rest so they can hunt down Commissar Tiberius.

The players are awarded 300 exp. The Inquisitor has given them all an advance on their pay for dispatching an important heretic (200 Throne Gelt for Moll, 70 for Phebia, 20 for Ephese). They are also given a weak to lick their wounds while the Arbites launch a more formal investigation, independent from the Inquisition.
